New Degree Programs in Professional Studies Available!

The College Network’s recent partnership with SUNY Empire State College brings a diversity of programs that allows us to help more people achieve their educational goals than ever before. Given the fact that a college degree is quickly becoming the standard credential required for most professional employment, the timing of these new program offerings couldn't be better. So, if you're longing for a change of career or just looking to move up in your profession and need to further your education then take a look at what's available in our professional studies area.

Associate or Bachelor of Science, Criminal Justice & Law Enforcement: Some of the fastest growing jobs for this major include border patrol agent, corrections officer, court reporter, crime scene examiner, law enforcement officer, private investigator, probation officer, and security officer.

Associate of Science, Early Childhood Education: This area of study deals with the teaching of young children (usually pre-kindergarten). Different types of employment opportunities for professionals in this field include preschool/kindergarten teacher, day care center professional, teaching assistant, social worker, and program director/administrator for a school or childcare setting.

Associate or Bachelor of Science, Information Systems: According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, Computer and information system employment is expected to grow at least 15% from 2012-2022. For those studying in this field, careers are available in programming, data processing, data management/administration, intranet/Internet management, IS/IT management, software development, telecommunications planning/management, and graphical user interface (GUI) design among others.
